Cookie policy
No cookie is stored until you say yes. Here is exactly what this site stores, why, and how to change your mind.
The short version
When you arrive, no cookie is stored on your device and nothing is read from it. A small bar asks yes or no. Say no, and the visit is counted only as an anonymous number in a total. Say yes, and measurement starts working properly. Everything this site can store is listed below.
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
e17_consent | Remembers your yes or no, so the bar does not ask on every page. Stays in your browser and never reaches us. | Until you clear your browser data |
e17_lang | Remembers the language you picked. Stays in your browser and never reaches us. | Until you clear your browser data |
e17_utm | If you came from one of our adverts, keeps the campaign name so it can be added to your WhatsApp message. | Until you close the tab |
Google Analytics (_ga) | Counts visits and shows which pages and buttons get used. Only if you say yes. | Up to 2 years |
Google Ads (_gcl_) | Only when we run Google adverts: records that an enquiry came from an advert. Only if you say yes. | 90 days |
Meta pixel (_fbp, _fbc) | Only when we run Facebook or Instagram adverts: records that an enquiry came from an advert. Only if you say yes. | 90 days |
What happens if you say no
The site uses Google Consent Mode. The measurement code loads for everyone, but it starts switched off, and your answer is what switches it on. Until you press yes it cannot write or read a cookie, cannot be used for advertising and cannot build a profile of you. The Meta pixel does not load at all.
What still happens when you say no is a bare, cookieless count of the visit, with no identifier and nothing that links it to you or to your next visit. Loading the code does mean Google's server sees your IP address and browser type. Blocking googletagmanager.com in your browser stops that, and nothing on this site will break.
If you said yes before and change your mind, pressing no switches measurement back off and deletes the Google and Meta cookies already in your browser.
Your choice, and changing it
Your language and your yes or no are strictly necessary for things you asked for, so they need no consent. Measurement is different: under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations it has to be asked for first, and refusing has to be as easy as agreeing. Here both are one click, side by side.
Changed your mind? Open the cookie choice again and pick the other option.
Third parties
Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads), Meta (the pixel, and WhatsApp, which receives your message when you tap a quote button) and Vercel, which hosts the site and keeps standard server logs. Each works under its own privacy policy. There is no embedded map, video or font from another site.
